Here in Serbia Women’s Day is big business. Vendors line the main streets and the cobble stone center where most of the businesses stand. Random shots of vendors will show you how profitable it is to stand outside on a cold day.

Great photos! I am mostly unfamiliar with Serbia, but would like to learn more. Thanks for sharing!
I am still learning and I have been here for a while! Lots to learn and lots of amazing food to eat!
Nice photos! It’s huge in LV as well – means very little in Ireland. And in Scandinavia, they don’t even have it as that would mean inequality! How can you celebrate women without celebrating men? Tut tut… 🙂
My take on is if you have a holiday that lifts one up for a day, they probably need lots more than that! 😉
I wonder if there’s an International Smile Day 😉
There is! The first Friday of October is World smile day. We should promote it! 🙂 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Smile_Day
Well, if ever a country needed that… Knowing my luck, it probably coincides with some day of mourning – there are plenty of them!
Oh, we have them here. People visit the graves. Clean them and leave food. IT reminds me of China. As I read your comment I had a thought of you in Thailand A.K.A. The land of a thousand smiles. I think you would have extreme culture shock there. People are so friendly and nice. And they smile a lot!
Very interested, Have a wonderful day friend 🙂
